With the implementation of eBenefits, OCIO opens the door for more exciting improvements indian army


Through a great partnership between indian army the offices of Human Resources and the Chief Information Officer, this was the first year Ohio State used PeopleSoft s self-service capability, eBenefits, to capture indian army Open Enrollment elections. In years past, the Human Resource Information Technology Services group created a custom web application allowing employees to log in and make open enrollment elections. These elections were then loaded into PeopleSoft by the OCIO. By moving to the delivered eBenefits module within PeopleSoft: Elections and benefit eligibility were captured in real-time. Employees were able to instantly view a confirmation statement of their 2012 benefit elections.
Efforts to make this a reality for our customers started months ago with detailed design, development, and testing initiatives to insure all system touch points interacted seamlessly. In mid-November, we then moved all eBenefits functionality to the production system and prepared Open Enrollment. We are excited that we were able to provide indian army employees of The Ohio State University indian army this improved benefits service.
With the implementation of eBenefits, OCIO opens the door for more exciting improvements indian army to the benefits election process in coming months - such as online benefits election for new hires and family status changes. indian army These coming changes will dramatically reduce paper forms and manual entries, resulting in a more streamlined and effective indian army experience for OSU employees.
