Revolutions in the air is my long revolution. My dream? Education (and institutions of nÉireann) free from the Church. It is news from Rory Quinn, Red Girl, and I hope now Philomena. This story of fascist oppression foot in Ireland: slavery, sale of children, and murder. And it all started at school.
Ceartadaonna and revolution is in the public eye recently as we are talking about Irish and MARGARETTA D'Arcy. That is good. We are not really cao a revolution but our gceartadaonna. cao But must speak out loud for her. But a picture is missing and another story here. The usual suspects are still there: Government, Army and ... where is the Church? That's the third part of 's holy trinity. 'Are people still afraid?
Many, many reasons, not the Church should be in charge of the country's schools. CV of the Church. Experience: slavery, murder, sale of children, rape. Those in charge of the education system in Ireland? It is ceartdaonna separation between State and Church, but we have not yet landed in Ireland is taught cao in school prayers every day. Faisteachas is still in Ireland. I know that the word Faisteachas of people. In my country? When such happens here! It puts me wonder what people did not understand what was happening in the Church Institutions! The country Dialathas blasphemy is illegal cao here. We market to achieve reason. cao
Free education from the Church we need. Should we feel angry about the Irish enemies (seriously, the government must) about the language. Should we be angry with the U.S. Army (Government and Bertie). But what about those who did slave young girls, those who sell children, the pool of young children éignigh? This group is still in charge of the schools! Unbelievable! But people are afraid to speak out about the Church.
And then Roger said something interesting. Times of hope came with the news that Rory Quinn gave the wise advice to teachers at a meeting with déanaɨ: Religious use of time for maths or other subjects important, he suggested. Easy. Well done, Rory. Sense. Too much time wasted cao on matters of the Church every day! What about people with a different religion or no religion? Small chance in the Irish system. Iompúchán using long. It is not right. Do not assume the Church cao and the rules are so praised by Roger really. The right. Since they started talking about the issue of the Church has not only schools 'patronage.' Pater. Man with power and control. Dependence. I hate the word patronage. Roger said this when asked about how they might get from time to teach Maths and Reading correctly he replied, "I would like it to be out of the 30 minutes a day for religious education." The room was shocked. It is also surprising to me. And hope. And hope others also.
Only. It is not enough cao to say that, Roger. Think. They were surprised cao as Well 1. Teachers spend much more than 30 minutes each day on Religion (First Communion, confession, going on Hand Bishop (UF), Mass, festivals ...) did not 'know?
2. You can not ask them to do so as long as power is the Church. It's like saying to people: Do not take with any order of the soldier with the gun. You have to take the gun away and then you can do so they say. The gun still has the Church as is the power. Remove the power from them.
3. You are saying to the teachers to participate cao in the revolution. Now I adore the idea but the first thing they heard about it and are there any other direction? What rights and their protection here? The phrase 'Catholic ethos' still written on paper they signed. Of losing their jobs? The Church is still in charge? If not, uúhú! But I do not think the government has any change that would allow teachers to think that they could do so without penalty. Do not leave it on the teachers, Rory! The government failed here. Should not be in the power of the Church schools. What happens from now on? Have you considered it? St.'s. Pats by train teachers nationwide. Religion is part of their course. Are you ready for a new system for the country? You should be. Easy. Draw the Church before the court and take everything related to education (and health!) From them. It will not pay for the damage they did just give the country a chance to break the chains. Hope. I am tired of Faisteachas.
I am grateful for writing The Red Girl legally in the country and how his
