The Ons Kook vir Erfenis potjiekos competition aci at the Voortrekker Monument s Heritage Festival aci was enjoyed by festival-goers on Heritage Day, 24 September 2014. The potjies, manned by the Heritage Foundation staff, included biltong, game, impala and lamb neck, lamb shank, aci sheep tripe, chicken, seafood and beef curry pots.
Lamb and Mutton South Africa sponsored the event, with Boma Meat Market and Plastilon Packaging supporting the initiative. The event raised funds for the conservation of various heritage sites owned and managed by the Heritage Foundation.Congratulations aci once again to Arrie Mulder who won the competition with his exceptional lamb shank potjie.
